Your First Visit
On your fIrst dental visit to our office, we will usually go over your medical history, take any necessary xrays, perform a thorough exam and do a routine tooth cleaning, ifyou so desire. What differentiates our office from most others is our high tech approach to accomplish this. Through the use of digital xrays, a tiny camera and a large monitor, we will always show you any needed dental treatment. Through the use of a computer video patient education system, we will explain all of the possible treatment options available. We will let you, the patient, decide what is best for you based on your individual wants, needs and financial situation. We will never push any unwanted or unneeded dental treatment on anyone! Real dentistry for real people...REALLY!

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting,
periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
We will used our intraoral camera to allow you to see what we see magnified 28 times.

Tooth Cleaning Machine
In our office, we use a special tooth cleaning machine called a Prophy Jet. It uses air, water and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to clean teeth more efficiently than conventional methods. This includes the most stubborn of stains like coffee, tea and tobacco as well as removing harmful plaque that causes tooth decay and gum disease. Acting like a miniature sand blaster, it is amazingly fast and there is no residual gritty toothpaste left when done......and your teeth will feel as smooth as glass!

Prophy Jet Cleanings
This system uses a combination of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), air and water to polish two surfaces more eficiently than conventional methods. It will remove plaque as well as stubborn stains like coffee, tea and tobacco.

These machines clean beeter by getting into all the nooks and crannies of your teeth,  and down below the gum better than the conventional rubber cup and gritty toothpasts cleaning. Your teeth will feel as smooth as glass when finished. The Prophy Jet  should play a part in every modern dental practice.

Painless Injection
Here, in this office, we don't take anesthetic injections lightly. We care! Everything is done known to man to make these injections as painless as possible. Nine times out of ten they are, just that, painless! Children who have never had to have their mouth "numbed" before almost never know they have received an injection. We usually do not tell them and since it doesn't hurt, they just think we sprinkled sleepy medicine in their mouth. Yes, if done in haste, injections in the mouth can be painful. However, if time is taken and some simple steps are followed, injections in the mouth hardly ever hurt.

Intraoral Camera
The new intraoral camera should playa major role in every modem dental practice. We have invested heavily in this new technology for one reason: to better serve our patients. It is the single most important technology that has been introduced to dentistry in the last five years. For the first time, it allows the patient to see exactly what the dentist sees, magnified 28 times. Looking at pictures on a TV monitor, the dentist, as well as the patient, can see such details as cracked fillings, fractured teeth and small areas of decay, even better than with the naked eye. The patient can then better understand the reason for treatment.

Since people only remember 7% of what they are toJd, and a picture is worth a thousand words, the intraoral camera has not only become a necessary tool in diagnosing and treating dental disease, but more importantly, educating patients in preventive dentistry and understanding dental problems as never before.

Only through knowledge and understanding can we grasp the importance of home care and the importance of maintaining our teeth in general so we are motivated to do those things that are necessary to preserve teeth for a lifetime.

Dental Implants
We will work with an
Implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

Teeth Bleaching

Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power
Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Crowns and Veneers

You can have a new smile with all-porcelain
Crowns (empressed material) on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to metal. We offer a workmanship warranty on all crowns and bridges.

Fillings: Resin

Tooth-colored filings that are light cures to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored filings, more durable material.

Root Canals

We perform
Root Canals on anterior and premolar teeth.

Periodontal Treatment

You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).

Mouth Guards

Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you
grind your teeth while you sleep, abite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.

Removable Dental Prosthesis

For missing teeth, we can make
dentures or removable partials for you.
